St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was founded in the 60’s by Kate’s grandfather, the late entertainer, Danny Thomas. In June of 2009 a new display was unveiled at the Memphis International Airport in the Danny Thomas Terminal. Kate along with her father, aunt, sister, and cousin were all there at the unveiling. This video was put together by hospital staff.

Kate’s cousin, Jason Thomas Gordon, organized an event at the House of Blues, featuring Stone Temple Pilots and his own band, King Size. This is the first of many events around the country to benefit St. Jude! Each show will be held in a House of Blues featuring a world famous rock group with King Size opening the show.
